eBooks and Other Resources

Access eBooks, audio, video, and other resources in Spark.

eBooks are digital copies of a your printed National Geographic Learning textbooks. They contain learning material, including videos, audios, and interactive activities that you can use in your class, or for self-study.
Note The activities in your eBook are not recorded in your gradebook.

eBooks

  1. Click eBooks in Spark.
    Your eBook opens in a new tab.
  2. Use the following buttons to navigate your eBook:
    To do this Do this
    Go to the next page Click Forward
    Go to the previous page Click Backward
    View in a single page Click Single-page
    Open zoom options Click Zoom
    Open tool options Click Tool
  3. Optional: Click the video icons found throughout your eBook to play videos.
  4. Optional: Click the activity icons found throughout your eBook to start activities.
    1. Follow the instructions to complete the activity.
  5. Optional: Click the audio icons found throughout your eBook to play audio tracks.

Audio and Video

  1. Click eBooks in Spark.
  2. Click the Audio & Video tab.
  3. Select the course you want from the Course dropdown menu.
    1. Select the unit you want from the Unit dropdown menu.
      The available audio and video resources will display.
  4. Click on each audio or video file to play.

Other Resources

  1. Click eBooks in Spark.
  2. Click the Other Resources tab.
  3. Select the course you want from the Course dropdown menu.
  4. Select the unit you want from the Unit dropdown menu.
    The available other resources will display.
