Add or Remove Students After the Test Has Started

Add or remove students from a test after the test has started.

This enables you to grant an individual student an extension on their test if they were absent, had computer issues, or for any other reason.

You must first remove them from the test, then reassign them to the test.

  1. Click Tests in Spark.
  2. Use the filters to navigate to the test you want.
  3. Click Edit.

  4. Click Continue.
    The Apply Settings page displays. You cannot edit these settings after the test has started.
  5. Click Continue again.
  6. Clear the Assign to all students, including those joining later checkbox.
  7. Scroll to the student you want and clear the checkbox next to their name.
    This deletes their score, allowing you to reassign them the test.
  8. Click Update.

  9. Click Confirm & Assign.
After the student has been removed from the test, you can reassign it to them with a new due date.
