Export Grades

Save all of your students' assignment scores in a format that can be imported to a spreadsheet, grade management system, or learning management system (LMS).

Common reasons to export grades include:
  • You must upload your course grades to another system.
  • You want to use a spreadsheet to make final grade calculations.
  • You need to back up grade data before certain changes, such as moving to a different LMS integration.
The gradebook tab is shown at the top of the MyELT window
  1. In MyELT, click Gradebook.
  2. Beside the Gradebook heading, select your course.
  3. Beside Report Creator, select Scores, by Student (Details).
  4. In Report Options, set Name Display to choose how you want your students to be listed in the report.
    • Last, First lists students' names.
    • Sign In ID lists students' account names.
    • Student ID lists students' school IDs.
  5. In Report Options, set Include assignments not yet due to choose whether to exclude some scores from the report.
    • Omit assignments not past due date and not taken excludes:
      • assignments that have not yet been submitted
      • assignments that are not yet due
Use this to calculate students' projected grades before the end of the course.
    • Include all assignments does not exclude any assignments.

Use this for final grade reporting after the end of the course.

  6. Click Create Report.

The report displays your students' scores for the course.

  7. At the top of the report, select .csv and click Save.
  8. If prompted by your browser, select where you want to save the file.
